I tried the number and wasn't able to speak with anyone either. I also filed a complaint with the FCC and some how the calls have stopped. I suggest everyone file a complaint and maybe they'll look into this company a little further

Coretel, or Core Communications Inc is leasing this phone number to the telemarketer. Their number is 866-744-3652. CALL THEM and leave a message (I haven't been able to talk with anyone there but I have left messages complaining about the 301-882-9986 number). I advised them that the telemarketer is breaking the law and by knowing this, they may also be subject to fines and penalties.

They are worse than a telemarketer, it's clear that they are scammers. They keep calling, always using a phony caller-ID (changing it from time to time.) I always press "1" to talk to them but they usually hang up the instant I ask for the company's name or the real phone number. One time I got one to talk a moment.. they insisted that they were legit but that they weren't allowed to give me their phone number. A supervisor got on and said "sure, the number is... (click)". The FTC obviously can't do anything since they're clearly a secret den of thieves and not a business that would be concerned with FCC fines. How do we get the FBI involved?

FCC does nothing to help. They send a BS response in the mail that says there is no violation. I will file with the FCC everyday I receive a call.

I was told that this is a scam. They called me twice today and when I questioned them they hung up.

Said they could lower interest rate on Credit cards.

Want to lower the interest rates on my credit cards. Have been calling several times a day for at least three weeks. We are on the do not call list. Caller will not take us off their call list.
