Today is Dec. 8, 2010. Caller did not leave message on A.M. We just cancelled our home delivery effective Dec. 1, 2010. Looks like they want to offer us a "deal". We will play their silly game & attempt to get home delivery for less than half-price (which the Courier-Journal will do with some folks!). Walmart offers the Sunday C-J newspaper for only 99 cents. And the C-J needs newspapers "sold" either through subscriptions or retail sales to keep their circulation numbers up because the circulation numbers determine how nuch they can charge for advertisers, who are the ones that really generate the serious revenue for newspapers. Caller let ring until answering machine picked up. When machine came on caller hung up. Had a lot of those lately esp over the last few months and would very much like those calls to stop. it seems to me they are up to no good if they can not leave a message!!!!!!!!!!
