Repeated calls, several times a week, hang up without a word when I answer. Possibly because I previously hung up on them when they had tried the "fix my computer scam"

a women with a foreign accent called Mon 11th July claiming to be from Micro-soft. She said my computer was sending error messages and my compuer was full of virus.

stating they are from microsoft ,saying my computer has downloaded viruses without me knowing and then hung up

Got a call from 4-905-5110 unknown number today. African american male on the line with heavy accent. I could barely understand him, he said I won 355,000.00 dollars and a new Mercedes, all I had to do was pay 999.00 in taxes first. He said to go to Western Union to get a receipt to show that I can pay the 999.00 fee. I said he was scamming me, no one would pay up front for a prize. I also told him to pay me 355,000.00 1st then I can pay the taxes,,,I kept repeating to him that I know he was trying to scam me, he was persistent and called me back twice, the 1st time was unknown caller, 2nd time was number above and the 3rd time he blocked his call. I said I was recording his call, then he hung up on me. These types of scams get you to Western Union where you trade in a bogus bank check from them, get the money, you pay them their fee, in this case 999.00, then you find out later that the check bounced and you are liable to pay it back yourself, by then these guys are long gone and laughing all the way to their bank. beware!!!
