Claimed I owed 8484.87 for a payday loan but the name of the company they gave me I never had a loan with. Said if I didn't pay now they would file criminal charges with the District Attorney immediately. When I asked for an address, they would not give me one.

I got a call from themf and same thing they said i was going to be arrested, funny thing is I paid the company they are collecting for months ago, i told them i have records to prove it and they would not accept it they said i was committing fraud (yeah right) and would be arrested. they have given me two different names Paul Thomas and Adam Woods. Very heavy accents (middle eastern or indian). Very rude and they almost sound like a scam especially since I told them I can prove I paid and they didn't want to hear it and wouldn't give me to much of their info. I spoke with the company i got the loan from and they have said this is a scam they are not linked to this company that is calling. If they call report to the authority

The same thing happened to me !!! I worried a little but not a lot because I haven't done anything wrong to anyone! I called back and also got the recording "please try again later" Then it beeped sounded like a voicmail so I left a message to the tune of their message. I'm waiting to see if I hear anything else.

Said I would be arrested called my job and told one of my supervisors that he was downloading some files to have me arrested. told my boss that she was lieing about me getting off work. Called him back when i got home and told him i work for a state facility and the calls were recoreded and he didnt care he harressed my boss and called her a liar

THEY CLAIM TO BE A DEPT COLLECTOR WITH FOR PAYDAY LOAN BUT I NEVER HAD ANY LOANS AND THEY THREATENED TO HAVE ME LOCKED UP AMONGST OTHER STUFF. IT DIDNT SCARE ME I WAS RECORDING THE WHOLE CONVERSATION

Who can i call to see if i did have this issue, they call harrassing me. that i owed money to a short term loan and i actually made a payment to them. so what should i do i feel so dumb

said they needed to hear from me or my lawyer as soon as i got the call. It was of the most extreme importance and if i didnt take action he said good "luck to you" in a evil tone his name was gary williams sounded more like middle eastern to me.

On Nov. 10, 2010 at around 6pm-630 I start recieving calls from this number indicating that I owe for a loan which was deposited into my bank for the amount of 441.00 and now thsy say I owe 5000...they told me that a supoena will arrive on friday and that i will have to apear in court on Monday at 11am. They said they will keep me for two days and the judge will make a sentence....I called back and they put me on hold and said the officer whom I spoke with will be on the line....(first they say they are law group then they say officer) Yeah Yeah Yeah.... So my husband tried calling and it goes to a voicemail that says "please call back later"...It scares me as well that they have my bank information and SSN and other personal inforamtion as well....I guess the internet is all bad with doing things...I have to be more careful when submitting my oersoanl inforamtion online

They told me that they have 3 charges against me. They have a lot of my personal information such as my full name, social security number, grandmother, boyfriend, place of employment. I couldn't quite understand what they were saying, as they were foreign. I do have a name Eric Warren, as the man who called, but when I returned the call, his voicemail only said "Please try again later" My boyfriend attempted to call this number back and it said the line was disconnected. They said they had 3 charges against me for fraud, money laundering and theft. I have never done business with anyone to know what they are talking about. It scares me to know that they have all of my information. They said they were officers of some sort in California.
