I received a call on my cell yesterday. Indian male identified himself as Andrew Brooks with the State Investigators office. He had the last 4 digits of my SS# and said there was an investigation against me. He said something about I owed money to a payday loan blah, blah blah. I knew it was a fraud call because I have never had a payday loan. I immediately went and googled the phone number, saw it was a scam and confronted him. Told him it was illegal to impersonate a govt official. Also told him to remove my name from their calling list or they would get sued for harrassment. He hung up.

I recv'd 2 harassing messages on my home answering machine from a guy stating he worked for the State Investigation Unit (but he did not mention what state) He said I was being charged with 3 criminal charges for deception, fraud and non payment of a loan that supposibly took out from Federal Legislative Funds (???) I asked him how much and what date he said he could not give me the date but the amount was for $528.37 He said on the voicemail his name was Sean Peters when I called he said his name was Mike Cooper and his vm said Nathan Royo. I felt that this was a scam because he would not furnish accurate info and he was calling from a call center since you could hear people in the background he had a Indian accent I could hardly understand him. I told him that he could send me all the paperwork and I would have my attorney look at them he said I would recv' them in 48 hours and good luck. First of all the call was very unprofessional and I did not know that government offices were open on Saturdays, and that they made harrassing calls to people.

A guy impersonationing himself as lawyer for over 250 companies that are afflictated with USA cashadvance called my cellphone asking me personal questions. Are you Mr. such and such, do you live at this address, and work at this place? So, I was spoiled by all that because I asked him where did he get that information from and he could not answer. I hung-up! Next, the person called and got my voicemail. he left threaten messages: I dont appreciate you hanging up the phone, I'm going to send the police to your job and your home if you do not pay. Are they the mob or somebody else. anyhow, I found the call to be harassing and disturbing. HE CALLED FROM ARLINGTON TEXAS AT LEAST THAT IS WHERE THE NUMBER COMES FROM.

well they keep saying i owe them money from 2009 i can not remember it but i asked them to fax me the information so i can see it so i can remeber but they would not also i did give them my credit card number but my card holder said to make sur where the money is going to but they would not seen me the information and they keep calling my job threating me saying they were going to seen the polices up here and take me to jail come to my house and them are threats to me and they are making me scared if this aligation is true all iwant them to do is seen me some information because it is to much thief going on if it is true i will pay it it suppose to be a pay day loan also when i call the number some time it says its not in service so all i need is the information about this bill so i can remember the bank also states that they do not see any deposit made to my account so please hellp me
