These people took $398 out of my checking account that I didn't write. It was an e-check and my bank let it go. This is fraud. The phone number that is on the check doesn't work. There is no signature required for a bank to take this money out. Come on. This is a lot of money for me single parent and this is the 4th time I have been hit with identity theft. Something needs to be done. People make sure you are checking your accounts. One person wrote that it might be someone getting a hold of your information if you do your taxes online and ask for direct deposit.
