UPDATE: Local Vero Beach PD claims they can't do anything about it. AT&T - the ones providing a landline to these A-Holes claimed they couldn't do anything about their own customer abusing their service. Claimed I had to ask my cell provider to block the call. (My cell provider TMOBILE claims it can't block numbers!) No response from FTC - Do Not Call. keeps hanging up on my answering machine

For months, maybe a year now, I am constantly being called by robotic messages giving me incessant "FINAL" warnings. This is to my private landline (on DONOTCALL list for years) and then around May it became my personal cell # (also registered on DONOTCALL). One is warning me the warranty on my car is expiring. (I do NOT even own a car!) The other is a fear mongering ""don't be alarmed, this is your final warning, interest rates are going up, today is your final day to...." I have repeatedly pressed the # indicated on their message that asks to be removed from their calls list. Several times I've pressed the "I'm interested" option and pretended to be interested in order to get a company name or some kind of information. After failing to get any useful information I have repeatedly explained that I am on the DONOTCALL list and I would be filing a complaint on each call. (unfortunately, most of the calls come from "unknown" or "blank" phone #s). Today, at 9:36amPST the same "don't be alarmed, this is your final warning, interest rates....' ROBOCALL that's been calling for months called in the morning. This time I tried calling the # back after hanging up on it. The call would not go through and I got an automated message telling me that the phone # is "not in service to INCOMING calls". I used a reverse phone look up to trace the call to a landline phone, provided by South Central Bell in Vero Beach, FL http://www.whitepages.com/search/ReversePhone?full_phone=7729780477&localtime=survey Reported to DONOTCALL, FL State Att. General, Vero Beach, FL Police Dept. ATT/BELLSOUTH would not let me file a complaint, said I had to ask MY service provider to block the call.
